vShop 0.6.1 released

Wed, 04 Mar 2009 15:59:24 -0000

vShop - phpWebSite e-commerce module
http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpwebsite-comm/ Verdon Vaillancourt

vShop is a module for phpWebSite that provides a complete toolset for doing e-commerce with your site. This release is for phpWebSite 1.6.0 or better.

This is the second release of vShop. I am currently working towards support for product attributes, but it is taking longer than I thought, so I decided to release 1.6.1 in the interum. This version adds a few new features and fixes a couple of bugs. Please read the change log for details.

The following is a partial list of features. Although there are still a number of features to be implimented, the module seems to be functioning well, and I would like to get some feedback. There will be a number of upgrades to this mod over the next couple months as feedback comes in and time allows.

* Maintain a catalog of departments and items
* Optional inventory control
* Multiple shipping calculation options
* Modular payment methods options
* Ships with Cheque/Money Order, PayPal, and SkipJack payment modules
* Multiple tax rates and zones configurations
* Supports optional secure checkout (depending on your needs)

For more information, please refer to the Read Me and Settings tabs upon installation and docs/ChangeLog.

Finc 1.1.0 Released

Wed, 26 Nov 2008 15:12:34 -0000

Finc - phpWebSite file inclusion module
http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpwebsite-comm/
Verdon Vaillancourt

Finc is a module for phpWebSite that provides a method for including the
contents of a static file on the server, into your phpWebSite as a keyed
item. This release is for phpWebSite 1.6.0 or better.

Finc is a simple module. It may also not be a very good idea, but I had
a need for such a thing and thought others might find it useful too. It
might also be dangerous. I would advise most people to use the variety
of content modules available for phpWebSite, but in those rare instances
where you might just want or need to include a raw file of something
from the server into your site, Finc will do the job. Finc also keys
these included items, so you can categorize them, quick-menu add them,
and do all the other things you can do with keyed items. Finc does not
provide any uploading tools. It is assumed that if you don't have the
access or ability to get the file(s) to be included on the server to
begin with, you shouldn't be using Finc.

For more information, please refer to the Read Me and Settings tabs upon
installation and docs/ChangeLog.
