Fri, 7 Oct 2005 14:10:17 -0400What is the VERY FIRST example of a super-hero, or someone w/a "secret identity" - i.e., someone who lives one life as an ordinary citizen and another as some sort of crusader w/only a nickname such that no one knows who they "really" are? I tend to think that everything in drama has been done in some variation or another as far back as ancient Greece - that the Greeks did it all and we've been spinning off our variations ever since But what about superheroes and their secret identities? I've got this as a standing question in my classes and figure that I'll post it here anyone?
