Due to expansion, Kingscroft are looking for an experienced Draughtsman/Detailer to work for a client who specialize in structural steel work. My client, based in the Shropshire area, offers a great salary ranging from £25k-£35k dependent on experience. They are family run business who not only Design and Manufacture but also install Steel Frame Buildings too. This role would suit a candidate who is experienced with Autocad and/or TEKLA who also holds experience within the Structural Steelwork/Cladding industry. Responsibilities: * Be responsible for producing detailed fabrication drawings for the workshop staff. * Keeping up to date with order documentation. * Liaising with other staff, customers and suppliers to help ensure projects are completed accurately and on time. Requirements: * Must have experience with Autocad, my client uses the 2017 version. * Previously worked within Structure Steel/Cladding industry or have worked on projects within this sector. * Design background, ideally within construction. * TEKLA experience would be advantageous, but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a great eye for detail and take pride in the work you do and complete. The ability to communicate is also a big must within this role, you will be dealing with a variety of people ranging from work colleagues, to customers and also suppliers. My client operate on a nationwide scale so from time to time, you may be asked to make site visits to ensure delivery and accuracy of the project are up to standard. For the right candidate, the salary will range from anywhere between £25k-£35k per annum depending on experience and knowledge. My client are also willing to take a more junior or trainee Draughtsman on, where you will be trained in house and develop both knowledge and skills within a detailing role.
