The Trainee Technical Engineer will be provided with full training and support in order to secure excellent knowledge of the role and industry, my client is looking for a school leaver with A Levels, grades A-C in Mathematics and Physics or a BTEC, National Diploma or Level 3 in Construction or Civil/Structural Engineering. The Design Manager will be working out of offices based near Denbighshire, with travel to site in Bournemouth required twice a week. The successful individual must have a great understanding of building regulations as the Design Manager will be involved in reviewing design drawings in accordance with Building regulations. The Design Manager will be reviewing design proposals from both internal and external consultants and support the procurement team to evaluate alternative design solutions offered by Sub Contractors. It is envisaged that the Design Manager will possess a qualification equivalent to N.V.Q level 5 of above. Continuing professional development will be a requirement for the successful Design Manager as part of the job. It is important the Design Manager has knowledge of AutoCAD design and Adobe Acrobat along with excellent Word and Excel skills.
