My client is a leading architectural practice who has projects rangeing from Hospitals, Hotels, and Education. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified part 3 Architect OR Architectural Technictain who has a minimum 5 years practice experience of working with 3D software to create drawings and models using the latest in BIM technology. The ideal Vectorworks Architectural Consultant will be proficient in Vectorworks although addition training will be given. Consultative, Training and Presenting skills will also be advantageous in this exciting opportunity. We are looking to recruit for temporary Multi Skilled Carpenters to work for CORMAC within their maintenance division. The roles will be ongoing temporary positions with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of routine building, maintenance and repair job
  • Responsible for visiting sites across Cornwall building relationships with the client with regards to all Fabric works
  • To undertake both responsive and planned maintenance tasks
  • Carpentry fault-finding and fault rectification
  • Carpentry installations including associated works (kitchen, doors etc)
  • Management of van stock
  • Competent in various trades
  • To execute workmanship to a high standard and ensure it is carried out in strict compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, and any other relevant legislation covering safety in the workplace for self and others

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Fully Qualified Carpenter
  • Experience in reactive and pre planned maintenance works
  • Driving Licence
  • CSCS card desirable

IF SUCCESSFUL:

This role will be subject to a DBS clearance for the successful candidate.

Work will be throughout Cornwall, a van will be provided for work purposes only. You will also be provided with, IPad, Mobile phone and uniform.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Design Manager to join a well-established, successful contractor. The Assistant Design Manager will be working on the developer side of the Main Contractor and if successful you will be required to travel across the UK covering various sites/projects across the country. My client are seeking an individual who has previous experience in Design Management to assist with managing the design process for the developer and other divisions as and when required. You will be heavily involved with attending meetings, reviewing design plans and offering support to the procurement department. The Assistant Design Manager will research new products for different construction forms and oversee H&S issues within the design process. The ideal Assistant Design Manager should posses a qualification level 5 or above within a related field and have an excellent understanding of Building Regulations.
