Chiropractic is defined as a wellness care practice based on the scientific premise that our bodies are self-regulating, self-healing organisms. Every cell, tissue and organ is controlled and co-ordinated by our nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves) which is protected by our skull, spine and pelvis. If these nervous system pathways are impaired due to subluxation (slight misalignment of a spinal segment causing interference to the nerves exiting our spines) impaired function throughout the body can result and cause reduced health and wellness.
