I had a hard time working with the Steam urls as they are not standard .lnk files. I found http://download.cnet.com/Steam-URL-Converter/3000-2072_4-75792613.html Which converts Url shortcuts to lnk shortcuts which you can then do "properties" on and and copy and paste into the argument section of the Task Scheduler. I set the download to start my time at 12:02 am and the PC to shut down at 4:58 am my time and it works really well. After you get all your games it is a good idea to go on line and verify local files in Steam because large downloads and paused and restarted downloads can have corruption that only takes a few minutes to fix.

I guess you can't use an iPad the way it was meant to be used in NZ. We went to Oz for Christmas this last year. I got a sim card for my smartphone [LGp970]. I was sooo used to turning off all of the features [defeates the purpose of a smart phone] and was surprised to find out that with the affordable plans in Oz, I could actually use my phone the way it was meant to be used. NZ is sooo far behind, to tight fisted, and losing ground by the day. Only people who've left AND come back realy know how far behind it is here. Most that go don't come back, to the tune of 50,000/year.

Interesting that the directions part of the app relates to Tom Tom database. Apple will be putting a lot of effort into finessing this app not to get bad too much bad press so I'm certain it will get several upgrades in the near future. Just integrating all the new stuff into the iOS6 was their initial goal. As it stands, Google winds hands, feet and wheels down.

I also love Wunderlist, and QuickPic is a great alternative image manager to the stock gallery app.

Sun, 24 Jun 2012 20:22:23 +0000Hi, I had also been deciding on which service to go with for, for my Wordpress blog. Had started with Picasa. Once I had worked out eventually how to add a slideshow into a wordpress.com blog! Then looked at Flickr, as other bicycle adventurists seemed to be focused that way. Perhaps also due to the community? I had exactly the same upload (original) on both, and Flickr is by far the better image quality. I also like the slideshow with Flickr (lightroom). Embedding slideshow on blog with Flickr is far easier, and does look pretty good too. $44 for two years is pretty good for what you get. So Flickr Pro it is then. Image quality was the deciding factor for me. Thank you for a great insight into the two services. Regards, Nigel
