New Field Museum show traces colorful history of tattooing

Wisconsin Dells' ice castles reopen on Saturday

Ice Castle Wonderland in the Dells sets opening date

When cheap doesn't equal good

Last week, I was bragging about the airfare deal of a century: a $66 round-trip ticket from Milwaukee to Ft. Myers. Yesterday, I was eating my words, since my flight home was delayed from Saturday to Monday, then cancelled completely on Monday, with no reasonable option on how to get home.

Mexico's Volaris is newest airline at Mitchell Airport

Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele proudly announced today that Volaris will begin international flights from MKE to Guadalajara, Mexico in March. With the announcement, Volaris becomes the first Mexican carrier to offer year-round scheduled service from MKE.

Finding home and history at The Astor Hotel

North Point Lighthouse is putting on a fresh face

North Point Lighthouse is receiving a facelift with its first complete house and tower painting since it was restored over 10 years ago. The $23,500 project includes cleaning, repairing and replacing wood and materials where needed, and painting the keeper's quarters museum and the lighthouse tower.
