Longtime talk radio host Eric Von dies at 58 of heart attack

Eric Von, a longtime leader in black community talk radio, died Thursday at the age of 58. Cause of death was an apparent heart attack. Von had survived a heart attack just one month earlier. He was a radio host at WNOV when he died.

St. Josaphat gets a lift with new sandstone

Yesterday, St. Josaphat Basilica, 601 W. Lincoln Ave., got some new sandstone to replace exterior stone that had deteriorated. Crumbling stones were replaced with new 9,000-pound blocks from the same Ohio quarry as the originals.

Bicyclists denied service in McDonald's drive-thrus

Airport unveils new service animal area

The "tiny doors" are back in Humboldt Park

In 2013, "tiny doors" were installed at the base of trees in Bay View's Humboldt Park. Shortly after, they were vandalized. Today, OnMilwaukee placed seven tiny doors in the park - go find 'em before they're gone.
