FreshFin Poke to host grand opening on Jan. 28

FreshFin Poké (po-kay) is Milwaukee's first poké restaurant and will be hosting its grand opening ceremony Saturday, Jan. 28. Festivities will include a ribbon cutting ceremony as well as free tastings of FreshFin's signature bowls.

Bring The Ruckus: A look at Shorewood's new burger and ice cream shop

Progress continues on Maison French restaurant in Washington Heights

Remodeling is in progress at Maison, the new French restaurant opening in the former Washington Heights neighborhood home of Meritage. According to owner and Chef Michael Quinn, work is on schedule for an opening in late January or early February.

Gypsy Taco pops up at Lucky Joe's

On New Year's Day, OnMilwaukee broke the story that Gypsy Taco, a food truck located year-round on the patio of Boone and Crockett, started on fire. The truck is repairable, but in the mean time, the chef-owner, Mitch Ciohon, will "pop up" at Lucky Joe's Alchemy and Eatery.
