The after school program meets Monday through Friday from 2:40 - 6:00 p.m. Assist the ASPIRE coordinator with attendance, snacks and helping with all programs. This is the second year of the event which benefits breast cancer research and Alex's Lemonade Stand. Registration forms are available in the Community Service Office. Beginning September 8, childcare is needed every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. This will be ongoing until December. At least 2 students are needed to run an aerobic/fitness class with fun activities in the Lincoln gym, twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. The program will run for 6-8 weeks. Friday afternoon readers are needed, starting in October, from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. This is open to any interested students. Doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, radiologist, physical therapists and others will be on hand at the presentations to interact with students and answer questions. There will be no tickets sold at the door! All guests must be pre-approved in their SSC offices prior to purchasing a quest ticket. Refreshments are included in the price of admission.
