Colorado oil production rises as prices rebound

Oil production continues to increase in Colorado as energy companies respond to a recent rebound in crude prices, according to U.S. government data. The Energy Information Administration says drillers in the Niobrara region that includes much of northern Colorado will produce 580,000 barrels daily in March.

And while the first entry in a new series presented beneath the banner "Is Colorado better off five years after legalizing marijuana?" is an improvement over an anti-pot screed from nearly three years ago that was partially penned by a prominent and devoted cannabis hater, it still focuses almost entirely on bad news.




Juno Therapeutics Inc (JUNO) Position Boosted by Public Employees Retirement Association of Colorado

Public Employees Retirement Association of Colorado lifted its holdings in shares of Juno Therapeutics Inc by 15.6% in the fourth quarter, HoldingsChannel reports. The fund owned 12,492 shares of the biopharmaceutical company's stock after purchasing an additional 1,682 shares during the period.




Space defense center in Colorado begins 24-hour operations

The center , which last year was operating with borrowed troops, has begun operating 24 hours a day with a staff of 230. The Gazette reports that its mission is to ferret out threats to military and spy satellites and take actions to keep American interests safe in orbit.
