Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials are offering a $5,000 reward for information in solving an "exceptionally disturbing" poaching case in eastern Colorado's Kit Carson County. In a two-night span in November a poacher or poachers shot nine antelope and two white-tailed deer, according to wildlife officer Aaron Berscheid.

The teacher shortage i n Colorado is only going to get worse, according to a new report released Thursday by the state. The latest numbers from the 2016 Legislative Educator Preparation Report show the number of people finishing teacher preparation programs at Colorado colleges and universities during the 2015-16 academic year dropped by 2.2 percent to 2,472.
