The first show of the new year kicks off with a bang....well at least it did when we were live. Once again Will and Ryan experience some technical difficulties in recording the show. If you didn't catch it live you'll have to miss the first portion of the show, but don't shy away. Will and Ryan discuss the Big Ten Network launch, women's soccer, field hockey rough schedule, and volleyball's rough start.

The softball team continues its hot streak, baseball struggles against a powerhouse, and spring sports deal with lousy April weather. There is so much to cover that Ryan and Will barely get to mention that Steve Lickliter is joining the Hawkeye family.
Note: Apparently someone turned off Ryan's mic 11 minutes into the show, we apologize for any inconvenience.

It was a crazy Thursday at the University of Iowa as Steve Alford rumors swirled around campus. Will and Ryan tried to remind them that the wrestling team just crowned a national champion and that baseball and softball are off to a hot start. If you have any suggestions for the next men's basketball head coach at the University of Iowa, or have any other questions/comments for Will or Ryan email them at FromTheCheapSeats@gmail.com

Due to weather problems in the Midwest, the Men's Basketball game originally scheduled for Wednesday night has been moved to Thursday at 6:05. This obviously causes a conflict of interests for us at From The Cheap Seats. With no studio time available to get the show prerecorded, there will be no show for this week. Our apologies to those waiting to hear our riveting analysis of the softball events of the past weekend, but it will have to wait until next week. If you have any questions or comments about the week that was for Hawkeye sports feel free to email us at FromTheCheapSeats@gmail.com.
