Sat, 01 Oct 2016 20:28:24 +0100A spirited second half performance enabled Yorkshire Carnegie to turn around a 6-7 half-time deficit to register a five point win over a gutsy Rotherham side, meaning 5 out of 5 wins so far this season. When , in the 75th minute Carnegie scored their second lineout drive try to seal victory and five points, the cry of “boring, boring, Leeds Carnegie” was heard in the Rotherham shed – but were they right?
Sat, 01 Oct 2016 15:02:41 +0100Wolves face Norwich today and for a change there will be one person returning who will definitely not score past us, Yes Jezz Moxey will once again step foot in to Molineux and I am sure he will get a good welcome from the home support (Ok maybe not quite a welcome one). Norwich do have two ex players in their ranks who could score but will not due to different reasons. Matt Jarvis, no doubt would have got a good reception from the home crowd and maybe even score, but he is out with a long term injurywhile Bassong is out of favour.

Fri, 30 Sep 2016 14:41:08 +0100After what was described by the team as a normal Friday for the 2016 Malaysian GP the Williams Martini team would see their drivers finish in 13th & 15th. Valtteri Bottas would lead home team-mate Felipe Massa in a session that saw both drivers agree that the team must work on improving their pace, but at the same time they felt that they are not that far away from where they should be.

Wed, 28 Sep 2016 14:14:46 +0100After the tight and twisty Singapore circuit the Williams Martini team moves to the Sepang circuit for the 2016 Malaysian GP. It is a circuit that had recent renovations but it remains a circuit that is hard on tyres. The weather can alsoplay a major role with races in the past seeing heavy showers hit the circuit. Again the Williams team is aiming to secure further points as the season draws to a close.

Sat, 01 Oct 2016 11:06:20 +0100In spite of a brilliant batting performance from Tim Bresnan, ably assisted by important cameos from Hodd and Rafiq, Yorkshire's attempt to achieve a rare hat trick of County Championships was foiled on the final hour of the season by our nemesis Toby Roland-Jones who rounded off the season by taking a hat trick of Tyke wickets. Young Roland-Jones, a far more potent bowler than the hyped Finn, finished off the drama by bowling both Hodd and Sidebottom, to finish with match figures of ten wickets, at a cost of 127 runs. Nick Gubbins was also a major thorn in the Yorkshire flesh, acccumulating a priceless total of 218 runs. In fact, without the contribution of Gubbins, the hosts' first innings would have subsided, although more dropped catches from the white rose enabled Middlesex to get out of jail.
Sun, 18 Sep 2016 15:21:55 +0100The result of the 2016 Singapore Grand Prix would see the Williams Martini team fail to achieve any points with only one car finishing the race down in twelfth. Felipe Massa would finish a lap down in twelfth while Valtteri Bottas would retire in his garage. For Valtteri his race would go wrong at the first corner after having made contact with another car seeing him suffer a rear puncture as well as rear bodywork damage as a result. The Williams team was hoping to extend their lead over Force India but this was not to be.
Sat, 17 Sep 2016 15:37:31 +0100Qualifying for the 2016 Singapore GP would see the Williams Martini drivers finish in 11th and 12th, right behind their championship rivals Force India. Valtteri Bottas would finish ahead of Felipe Massa but both drivers would be hindered by yellow flags that were shown as a result of an accident out on the circuit. At least both Williams drivers will be able to start the race on their choice of tyres for Sunday's race which should help with strategy.
Sat, 17 Sep 2016 12:40:32 +0100The final practice session for the 2016 Singapore GP would see Williams Martini drivers Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa finish in 10th and 14th. Another disappointing result for the Williams team with neither driver close to the quickest times. The only change was that in this session Valtteri would lead team-mate Felipe in the times. Their pace would raise questions as to whether both drivers would make it into the final period of qualifying.
