By virtue of her finish, she fell one spot shy of qualifying for a spot representing the Red, White & Blue at August's Rio Olympics.
Sun, 03 Jul 2016 20:08:00 EDTThe UNLV track & field program was represented by rising senior Kaysee Pilgrim and alumna Lekeisha Lawson on the third day of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon. Both came up short in their bids in the high jump and 100m to represent the Red, White & Blue at the Rio Olympics with Pilgrim's 11th-place finish in the high jump final while Lawson was 17th in the 100m semifinal Sunday.
