On Dec. 10, UC Davis basketball will make the brief trek down I-80 to face Cal for the first time in six seasons. Basketball fans that are unable to make the trip to Berkeley will have an opportunity to watch the Aggies compete in another nationally televised game now that the Pac-12 Networks added this game to its men’s basketball schedule.

Before suiting up for its final game of the Costa Rica Foreign Tour, UC Davis basketball embarked on an adventure and explored the country's lush natural environment. By visiting the the La Paz Waterfall Gardens, the country's top ecological attraction, the team had an opportunity to view five waterfalls located on property, navigate its way through the rain forest and interact with numerous native species of animals.



The countdown to Costa Rica is over

By the time most people woke up and jumped out of bed on the morning of August 20, UC Davis was already in the air traveling to Costa Rica. What started with a 4:30 a.m. arrival to Sacramento International Airport ended later that night when the team cleared customs at Juan Santamaría International Airport -- the primary airport serving San José, Costa Rica's capital city.
