Hosted at the United States Navy Memorial's Heritage Center, a number of team members attended the ceremony that honored Minnesota Twins and California Angels Hall of Famer Rod Carew, Boston Red Sox relief pitcher Brad Ziegler, Senior Chief Petty Officer Christopher Beeding, Gunnery Sergeant Marshall Cleveland, the USS Constitution and TSC Great Lakes for their dedicated work that embodies the ideals of Bob Feller's historic and service oriented life.
Wed, 16 Nov 2016 14:20:00 ESTThe defending Patriot League champions, the Navy baseball team announced on Wednesday its 53-game 2017 schedule. Fresh off a bid into the NCAA Tournament and a regional round victory over Saint Mary’s, the Mids will kick off their season on Feb. 18 on the road at North Carolina Central. 10 days later on Feb. 28, the Mids (43-16-1 in 2016) will play the first of 30 home games in Annapolis. In total, Navy will play six home weekend series in 2017, including two against Patriot League opponents.

Scheduled in conjunction with the Mids' 3:30 p.m. football game versus Memphis, coffee and pastries will be available and served to alums as they check in beginning at 9:00 a.m. After the teams are drafted by honorary captains and the uniforms are issued, play between the Blue and Gold teams will commence at 10:00 a.m.
Wed, 07 Sep 2016 11:43:00 ESTWith the reformation of the brigade and start of classes, it was announced recently by Navy Director of Athletics Chet Gladchuk that the Navy baseball program had been awarded the 2015-16 Director of Athletics Cup. Under the direction of head coach Paul Kostacopoulos, the Navy baseball team turned in a performance for the record books during the 2015-16 school year. The 2016 regular season saw the Mids go a school-record 43-16-1 and earn into a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
