Michael Anti Announced as Head Navy Rifle Coach

Michael Anti, a decorated four-time Olympic competitor, was announced on Tuesday as the new head rifle coach at the United States Naval Academy by the Director of Athletics Chet Gladchuk. Anti comes to Annapolis after eight successful years as an assistant coach at the Air Force Academy and over 30 total years of experience with shooting, competing and coaching rifle.

Bill Kelley Retires from Navy Rifle Program After 18 Years as Head Coach

Bill Kelley announced on Tuesday his retirement as head coach of the rifle team at the United States Naval Academy after 18 years at the helm of the highly-competitive program. The 2004 Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association National Coach of the Year, Kelley transformed the Mids into a perennial NCAA Championship contender as the team competed on the national stage 12 different times during his time in charge of the Midshipmen.



Four Mids Named CRCA Scholastic All-Americans

The Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association recently announced its 2016-17 postseason awards and in the national press release four Navy rifle student-athletes were recognized for their prowess in the classroom. For achieving at least a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester, the quartet of Brandon Pippin, Thomas Sarant, Joshua Watson and Kestrel Kuhne were honored.
