Jaques Set for MAAC Aer Lingus Promotional Tour

Siena Women’s Basketball Head Coach Ali Jaques is one of four Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Basketball coaches that will take part in the Aer Lingus Promotional Tour. The tour, in conjunction with Aer Lingus and Sports Changes Life, will help promote women’s basketball overseason by holding women’s basketball clinics in Ireland.

Siena to Host NCAA Tournament Basketball Next Three Years

Siena College, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and the Times Union Center will co-host NCAA Tournament basketball games each of the next three years. The trio has been awarded both the 2019 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Regional and the 2020 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball First and Second Rounds. Siena, the MAAC, and the Times Union Center were previously selected to host the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Regional.

Winter Joins Siena Women's Basketball

Siena Women's Basketball Head Coach Ali Jaques announced the program's newest addition to the Saints' 2017-18 roster. Hayley Winter of Perth, Australia had signed and returned her National Letter of Intent and will enroll at Siena College for Fall 2017. Winter is the fourth newcomer to the 2017-18 roster.

The 2016-17 KeyBank Siena Basketball Celebration was held Wednesday night at the Hilton Albany. Several hundred fans, family members, supporters and sponsors joined the Siena men's and women's basketball teams for the annual event which celebrated the squads' 2016-17 seasons.

Women’s Basketball Set To Travel to Cuba

In a time when Cuba just recently opened their border to the United States, the Siena Women’s Basketball program is capitalizing to go on an international tour. The Saints will go on the Cuba International Tour from Aug. 14-20. Fans will also have the opportunity to join in on this once in a lifetime experience.

Benitez Transferring Out of Women’s Basketball Program

Siena Women’s Basketball sophomore guard Jackie Benitez has announced her intention to transfer from the College, and has been granted her release. The Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania will leave the school following the conclusion of the spring semester.

Iona Knocks Siena Out of MAAC Tournament

Four Saints Earn All-MAAC Acclaim

Siena Men’s Basketball red-shirt senior forward Brett Bisping and senior guard Marquis Wright have been named Second Team All-MAAC selections, as voted upon by the league’s 11 head coaches. On the women’s side, sophomore guard Jackie Benitez earned First Team All-MAAC acclaim, while junior guard Kollyns Scarbrough was tabbed a Second Team honoree.
