#SienaMadness sponsored by Clearly Yours will be held on Friday, Oct. 28 from 7-8 p.m. at the Alumni Recreation Center on the Siena College campus. The annual preseason pep rally serves as an opportunity for Siena College students to sign up for the Dog Pound, win prizes, and meet the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Siena Men Picked Second, Women Third in MAAC Preseason Poll

The Siena Men’s Basketball team has been predicted to finish second while the women were projected third, according to the MAAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll which was revealed during the conference’s preseason awards show Tuesday night on ESPN3. A combined five Saints were heralded with Preseason All-MAAC honors, highlighted by First Team selections Brett Bisping and Javion Ogunyemi from the men’s squad and Kollyns Scarbrough from the women’s team. Men’s senior Marquis Wright and women’s sophomore Jackie Benitez each earned Preseason Third Team acclaim.

MAAC Basketball Preseason Awards Show Tuesday at 7 PM on ESPN3

The MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Preseason Polls and All-MAAC Teams will be revealed during the conference’s awards show airing Tuesday night at 7 p.m. on ESPN3. The hour-and-a-half show commences with the announcement of the women’s poll and teams, followed by the men’s disclosures at 7:45 p.m.

MAAC Reveals ESPN Basketball Television Schedule

Siena’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will be featured a combined seven times during the regular season as part of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference’s ESPN Television schedule. The men’s team is set for five regular season broadcasts as part of the conference’s package on the ESPN Family of Networks, while the women’s squad is slated to be showcased twice.

Siena Basketball Individual Game Tickets On Sale Now

Individual game tickets for all 13 men’s basketball home games at the Times Union Center and all 14 women’s basketball home games are on sale now. Key Bank Sneak Preview Unofficially Tips off Siena Basketball Season

Capital Region basketball fans had their first opportunity to meet and greet the 2016-17 Siena men's and women's basketball teams at the Key Bank Sneak Preview Thursday night at the Times Union Center. Several hundred supporters turned out for the event which serves as an unofficial tip-off to the Siena Basketball season.

Full Women's Basketball Schedule Announced

The Siena Women's Basketball 2016-17 schedule is now complete, with the announcement with the MAAC slate Monday. Siena's 29-game slate includes 14 home games, nine of which will be played on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

Hewitt, Gaudreau Named to MAAC Hall of Fame Honor Roll

Siena Basketball legends Paul Hewitt and Mary (Gaudreau) Messer '83 have been named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Hall of Fame Honor Roll Class of 2016. The duo will be enshrined in "The MAAC Experience" exhibit at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in a special ceremony on Oct. 15 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Siena Women’s Basketball Head Coach Ali Jaques has added 5-11 guard Sabrina Piper to the program for the 2016-17 season. Piper comes from Paris, France and will bring international playing experience to Siena.

Women's Basketball Non-Conference Schedule Released

The nine-game non-conference slate features four home games and five contests against teams that competed in the postseason last year including the NCAA (Syracuse) and WNIT (Florida Gulf Coast) runners-up.

Transfer Aaliyah Jones Added to Women's Basketball Roster

Siena Women's Basketball Head Coach Ali Jaques has added 5-8 transfer guard from Brooklyn, New York Aaliyah Jones to the roster for the 2016-17 season. Jones spent the last two seasons at Fordham and will have to sit out this season, per NCAA transfer regulations. She will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Saints.
