Key Bank Sneak Preview Unofficially Tips off Siena Basketball Season

Capital Region basketball fans had their first opportunity to meet and greet the 2016-17 Siena men's and women's basketball teams at the Key Bank Sneak Preview Thursday night at the Times Union Center. Several hundred supporters turned out for the event which serves as an unofficial tip-off to the Siena Basketball season.

Full Women's Basketball Schedule Announced

The Siena Women's Basketball 2016-17 schedule is now complete, with the announcement with the MAAC slate Monday. Siena's 29-game slate includes 14 home games, nine of which will be played on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

Hewitt, Gaudreau Named to MAAC Hall of Fame Honor Roll

Siena Basketball legends Paul Hewitt and Mary (Gaudreau) Messer ’83 have been named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Hall of Fame Honor Roll Class of 2016. The duo will be enshrined in “The MAAC Experience” exhibit at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in a special ceremony on Oct. 15 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Women's Basketball Alumna Heralded by Sports Business Journal

Siena Women's Basketball alumna Kristin Bernert '96 has been named a Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal 2016 Game Changer. Bernert was recognized and profiled by the publication for her exemplary work as senior vice president of business and basketball operations for the WNBA's New York Liberty.

Siena Basketball Key Bank Sneak Preview Set for September 15

Piper Joins Women's Basketball Team

Siena Women’s Basketball Head Coach Ali Jaques has added 5-11 guard Sabrina Piper to the program for the 2016-17 season. Piper comes from Paris, France and will bring international playing experience to Siena.

Krogh Named Director of Operations for Women’s Basketball

Siena Women’s Basketball Head Coach Ali Jaques has announced that Ida Krogh will serve as the program’s Director of Basketball Operations. Krogh played for the Saints from 2011-2015 and Nova Southeastern in 2015-16.

Women's Basketball Non-Conference Schedule Released

Siena Women's Basketball Head Coach Ali Jaques has announced the Saints non-conference schedule for the 2016-17 season. The nine-game non-conference slate features four home games and five contests against teams that competed in the postseason last year including the NCAA (Syracuse) and WNIT (Florida Gulf Coast) runners-up.

Transfer Aaliyah Jones Added to Women's Basketball Roster

Siena Women's Basketball Head Coach Ali Jaques has added 5-8 transfer guard from Brooklyn, New York Aaliyah Jones to the roster for the 2016-17 season. Jones spent the last two seasons at Fordham and will have to sit out this season, per NCAA transfer regulations. She will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Saints.
