Women Second, Men Third at UAlbany Invitational

The Siena men’s and women’s cross country programs continued to dominate on the course. The women finished second while the men finished third as a team at the UAlbany Invitational. Siena women finished second with 65 points, just three points behind UAlbany who came in first with 62 points. The men came in third behind UAlbany who finished with 18 points and Manhattan who scored 55.

The Siena Cross Country team took part in the 21st Annual James Earley Invitational. The men ran in the 8K, while the women competed in the 6K.

Cross Country Continues Strong Season

As if this cross country season wasn’t already impressive enough, the Saints continue to show they are a force to be reckoned with in the MAAC. The men finished 2nd out of 45 teams while the women finished 10th out of 42.

Kibet Tabbed as MAAC Runner of the Week

Freshman cross country runner Evans Kibet was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Runner of the Week. This is the freshman’s first weekly award and the first men’s cross country weekly award since 2009.

The Siena Cross Country teams had a strong showing at the Nassaney Invitational on Saturday. The men finished in third, while the woman came in fifth. Sarah Forman repeated as the winner of the women's race.

Siena Cross Country opened up their 2016 season with a strong showing. The women swept to take first while the men took the top-two individual finishes and finished second as a team. This was the first home meet the Saints have hosted in over 20 years.

Men Picked Sixth, Women Tabbed Seventh in Preseason Poll

The Siena men’s cross country team was picked to finish sixth while the women’s team was selected to finish seventh in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Last fall the men placed fifth while the women took eighth in the MAAC Championship.

Siena's Track Program Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

Siena’s men’s and women’s track program were named to the 2016 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team. This honor is the first for both track programs as the 2015-16 season was their inaugural season.
