Cross Country. Three School Records Set at Upstate Challenge

It was a day full of records as the Siena men’s and women’s track teams traveled to Ithaca, New York for the Cornell Upstate Challenge. Both the men and women finished in sixth place overall.

W. Swimming. Red Flash Tops Swimming in Final Dual Meet of Season

Siena Swimming competed for the third time in eight days, and final time before the MAAC Championships, on Saturday afternoon in Loretto, PA against Saint Francis (PA). The Red Flash bested the Saints 166-89. Sophomore Emma Rupert led Siena with three second place finishes.

W. Basketball. Saints Stun Marist In Poughkeepsie

With 19 seconds on the clock Jackie Benitez made a layup to give Siena Women's Basketball a 69-68 win over Marist which is their first win in Poughkeepsie since Dec. 3, 2004. Siena now has back-to-back victories over the Red Foxes, the last time that happened was on Feb. 26, 2004 followed by Dec. 3, 2004.

Saint Peter's opened the game on a 14-2 run and led throughout in a 77-65 win over Siena Basketball at the Yanitelli Center. Senior Lavon Long scored a game-high 17 points for the Saints which saw their season long four-game winning streak snapped.

Tonight's game will be broadcast on ESPN3.

M. Basketball. Surging Saints Win Fourth Straight

Senior Lavon Long erupted for a career-high 29 points and helped fuel a decisive 23-4 run to open the second half to lead surging Siena Basketball to its fourth straight win with a 78-68 triumph over Rider at the Times Union Center. Long added a season-high 12 rebounds to record his second double-double of the season for the Saints which improved to 7-1 at home.

W. Swimming. Swimming Falls at Fairfield

Siena Swimming was back in the pool on Monday afternoon to battle MAAC opponent Fairfield. The Stags bested the Saints in the meet, 142-95. Maggie Fletcher and Fiona Dretzka picked up one individual victory each for Siena.

Field Hockey. Crumlish & Omarshah Represent Siena Field Hockey On National Team

M. Basketball. Saints Stymie Stags, Win Third Straight

Siena Basketball is winless on the road no more. The Saints posted their best defensive performance on the road this season to complete the regular season series sweep of Fairfield 63-54 at Webster Bank Arena. Red-shirt senior forward Brett Bisping scored a game-high 16 points and added seven rebounds for the surging Saints which have won three straight to pull within a game of first place in the MAAC.
