The Providence College women’s ice hockey team downed New Hampshire after coming back from a 3-1 score in the second period. Providence scored four third period goals to win the game, 6-3. Providence improves to 7-7-1 and 4-3-1 in Hockey East while New Hampshire moves to 4-11-0 and 3-6-0 in Hockey East.

The Providence College women's hockey team defeated the Vermont Catamounts, 5-2, at Schneider Arena on Nov. 12. The Friars tallied three goals in the final five minutes of regulation to defeat the Catamouts. Providence improves to 6-7-0 (3-3-0 HE) and Vermont moves to 3-5-1 (2-2-0).

Two Women’s Hockey Players Earn Weekly Honors

Two members of the Providence College women’s ice hockey team earned Hockey East weekly honors. Brooke Boquist (Thunder Bay, Ontario) was named Warrior Hockey East Co-Player of the Week and Kate Friesen (Altona, Manitoba) was named the Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week.
