Providence College field hockey defender Floor Rozemeijer (Santpoort-Zuid, Holland) was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Monday, Sept. 26. Senior midfielder Adrienne Houle (Burlington, Ontario) also was recognized by the league as a member of the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. For Rozemeijer, it marks the first weekly conference honors of her collegiate career, while Houle has been a fixture on the league’s weekly honor roll for four-consecutive weeks.

Providence College field hockey players Adrienne Houle (Burlington, Ontario) and Megan Hamilton (Warrington, Pa.) were each named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Sept. 19. The duo helped guide the Friars to a 2-0 record last week, including a 3-2 overtime victory against BIG EAST foe Temple on Sept. 16. The Friars have won six of their last seven games, suffering their only loss in the stretch at Northeastern, 1-0, in overtime on Sept. 9.
