Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2018 Captains

Heading into the 2018 season, Providence College men’s lacrosse Head Coach Chris Gabrielli will return James Barclay ’18 (Toronto, Ontario), Tate Boyce ’19 (Matthews, N.C.) and Austin Goltz ’17 (Orchard Park, N.Y.) as team captains. Gabrielli and staff will add Conner Byrne ’18 (Hicksville, N.Y.) and Brendan Kearns ’19 (Wantagh, N.Y.) as newly-elected captains of the men’s lacrosse program.

Men's Lacrosse To Hold Coaches Clinic

The Providence College men's lacrosse program is set to host its first coaches' clinic for the 2017-18 academic year on Nov. 20. The clinic will be held in the Class of 1991 Video Room in Schneider Arena at 7:00 p.m.



Men's Lacrosse Program Hold Annual Banquet

On Saturday, Sept. 30, the Providence College men's lacrosse team hosted its annual awards banquet to recognize outstanding player accomplishments from the 2017 season. The 2017 Providence College lacrosse team made program history as it advanced to the BIG EAST Championship Game for the first time since joining the league for lacrosse in 2010. The Friars 10-7 record marked the most victories in a single season since 2006. The team's 10 wins are tied for most in program history.

Former Providence College men’s lacrosse player Jarrod Neumann (Springfield, Mass.) was selected as the 38th overall pick in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) Draft on Monday, Sept. 18 by the Colorado Mammoth.
