Swimming & Diving. Swimming And Diving Compete In Day Two Of BIG EAST Championships

The Providence College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams continued into in day two of the 2017 BIG EAST Swimming & Diving Championships, presented by Jeep. The meet is being hosted at Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, N.Y. Both the men and the women remain in fifth place After the second day of activity with 84 and 123 points, respectively.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men’s and women’s Track and Field teams will travel to the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Complex in Staten Island, N.Y. for the BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Championships on Feb. 24 and 25th. W. Ice Hockey. Women's Hockey Game Notes vs. Vermont For Hockey East Quarterfinals

The Friars will host the Hockey East Quarterfinals as the No. 4 seed in the league, hosting No. 5 Vermont. The series will be best-of-three games, and the winner will advance to the Hockey East Championship weekend. The Friars will open on Feb. 24 at 5:00 p.m., Feb. 25 at 2:00 p.m. and Feb. 26 at 2:00 p.m. if necessary.



M. Lacrosse. Men's Lacrosse Hosts Vermont

Providence will wrap up the regular-season schedule with a pair of road games against Butler and Xavier this weekend. The Friars head to Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. to face Butler on Friday, Feb. 24 at 7:00 p.m. Providence remains on the road to take on Xavier at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 11:30 a.m. Both games will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network via FOX Sports GO.
