Kimpel to Compete at Phillips 66 National Championships

Georgia Tech rising senior Alex Kimpel will compete this week at the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships held at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI from June 27-July 1 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Noah Harasz is right at the top of the list when it comes to speed, efficiency and versatility in the freestyle for Georgia Tech. In individual competition, the rising senior from St. Petersburg, Fla., hit three top-five marks at the 2017 ACC Championships and added two top-10 all-time marks in 2016, giving him three for his career.



Jackets Place 14 on Scholar All-America Teams

Four Tech Teams Earn NCAA Public Recognition Awards

Georgia Tech women’s cross country, golf, men’s swimming & diving and volleyball all received NCAA Public Recognition Awards on Wednesday for having Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores that rank among the top 10 percent nationally in their respective sports for the four-year period ending in 2015-16.



Six Jackets Earn All-ACC Academic Team Honors

Georgia Tech swimming and diving had six student-athletes earn All-ACC Academic Team recognition, the ACC office announced on Wednesday. Seniors Andrea Demick and Maddie Paschal were named to the women’s team, while seniors Robert Borowicz and Omar Eteiba, as well as juniors Noah Harasz and Brian Woodbury all earned a spot on the men’s team.
