Men's Tennis Wraps Weekend in California

The George Washington men's tennis squad opened 2018 against some of the toughest teams they will face this season. In back-to-back action on Saturday, the Colonials fell to No. 13 Stanford (7-0) and then to the University of San Francisco (4-0). On Sunday, GW closed out its west-coast trip with a 7-0 loss to Pacific. Chris Reynolds took one game in the No. 1 position, battling Tadiwa Chinamo 6-4, 3-6, 10-8.

Men's Tennis Falls to No. 6 UCLA in Season Opener

LOS ANGELES – In their 2018 season opener, the George Washington men's tennis team fell to No. 6 UCLA, 7-0, on Thursday afternoon. The Colonials faced a tough slate of competitors, as sophomore William Tutecky played against top-ranked Martin Redlicki, while Chris Reynolds played Keegan Smith, ranked No. 108 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings.

Men's Tennis 2018 Season Outlook

GW will look to take back their A-10 crown after falling short last season. The Colonials had previously won three consecutive A-10 titles and have won five in the last seven years. GW will face a tough slate of non-conference opponents and test itself in hopes to reclaim the conference title in April.
