Dominic Giordano performed five fantastic dives on the 3-meter springboard Friday afternoon at the NCAA Championships, but unfortunately an incomplete dive on his fourth attempt kept the Pitt senior from defending his national title in the event.

Softball. BC Outlasts Pitt 3-2; Panthers, Eagles Set for Doubleheader Saturday

The University of Pittsburgh softball team dropped its first game of the series against Boston College, 3-2, Friday afternoon at Vartabedian Field. The final two games of the series, which were set for single time slots Saturday and Sunday, will now be played as a doubleheader Saturday beginning at noon due to expected inclement weather in the Pittsburgh area Sunday, March 26.
