With the victory – by set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-13, the Rebels upped their overall record to 20-3 and 9-2 in Mountain West play. The Spartans, on the other hand, dropped to 10-13 for the year and 3-8 against league competition.

With the 3-0 victory (25-18, 25-21, 25-19), the Rebels conclude the first half of Mountain West action with an 8-1 mark while their overall record improved to 19-2. The Falcons, on the other hand, dropped to 9-13 for the year and 0-9 in Conference play.

The Scarlet & Gray, which won by set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 24-26, 25-20, 15-13, got double-doubles from both Bree Hammel and Alexis Patterson in the come-from-behind victory that upped the squad to 18-2 overall and 7-1 in Mountain West play. The Aggies, on the other hand, fell to 8-11 on the year and 3-5 in Conference bouts.

Trips to Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 20 (Air Force) and Boise, Idaho on October 22 (Boise State) will take place before the Scarlet & Gray returns home.

The Rebels (16-2 overall, 5-1 MW) fell behind early to the Colorado State Rams (11-5, 5-0 MW), but fought back with a win in the third set to force a fourth frame. Unfortunately, it was the Rams that walked out of the Cox Pavilion with the 3-1 victory behind set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 14-25, 25-21.

With the win by set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-27, 25-14, the Rebels improved to 16-1 on the year and stayed perfect in Mountain West play with a 5-0 mark. The loss set the Cowgirls back to 10-7 overall and 3-1 in the MW.

The Rebels have achieved such a high ranking due to the fact they sport a 15-1 overall record and that figure has translated to the second-best winning percentage (.938) in the country.

The Phoenix native was tabbed the Conference's Defensive Player of the Week after she helped the Rebels, who are 15-1 overall, maintain their perfect start (4-0) in league play with a pair of road victories at Fresno State and San Jose State. In September, Patterson was selected the MW's Offensive Player of the Week.

Just two days after a dramatic, come-from-behind victory over the Fresno State Bulldogs, the Rebels alternated set wins with the San Jose State Spartans (8-8, 1-3 MW) en route to a 3-2 decision Saturday afternoon. The Scarlet & Gray claimed the bout contested at Spartan Gym by set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-22, 27-29, 15-11.
