The UNLV baseball team hits the road for a three-game, Mountain West series against the New Mexico Lobos in Albuquerque, N.M., this weekend. The first contest is slated for Friday evening (6:30 pm MT/5:30 pm PT) at Santa Ana Star Field while the second and third affairs will take place Saturday (2:00 pm MT/1:00 pm PT) and Sunday (12:00 pm MT/11:00 am PT).



Rebels Reel Off Four Runs To Rally In The Ninth

The UNLV baseball team (14-25) rallied for four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday night to knock off the Arizona State Sun Devils (16-19) by a final score of 13-12 at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. The Rebels, who trailed by three – 12-9 – as they entered their half of the final frame, managed to send seven batters to the plate and each one reached base safely. Corey Pool got the comeback bid started with an RBI double while two more scored off an errant throw that tied the affair at 12-all. Justin Jones promptly ended the contest with a single through the right side of the infield to bring home the game-winning run.



Rebels Conclude Homestand With Visit From Sun Devils

The UNLV baseball team suffered a 16-3 loss to the San Diego State Aztecs in the third and final game of the Mountain West series contested at Earl E. Wilson Stadium Saturday afternoon. The Aztecs (26-11, 13-5 MW) broke the game open with a four-run fourth inning and, eventually, led 14-0 before the Rebels (13-25, 7-11 MW) were able to push across its first run of the game.

The UNLV baseball team fell behind early to the San Diego State Aztecs and its offense was never able to recover from the deficit en route to a 20-6 loss Friday night at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. The Aztecs (25-11, 12-5 MW) scored at least one run in each of the first five innings and used a seven-run fourth to put plenty of distance between themselves and the host Rebels (13-24, 7-10 MW).

The UNLV baseball team began its four-game homestand Thursday night with a 7-3 win over the San Diego State Aztecs at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. The Rebels broke open a 2-all affair with five unanswered runs, four of which came off a trio of home runs, en route to the four-run victory in extremely windy conditions. Additionally, Alan Strong and Larry Quaney combined to strike out seven and limit the Aztecs to three runs.

Rebels Add Miller To 2018 Roster

The UNLV baseball program has added Northern Nevadan Casey Miller to the signing class that will don the Scarlet & Gray beginning with the 2018 campaign. In the fall, the Rebels signed Cade Adams, Bryce Bullock, Zack Gillissie, Trevor Horn, Dillon Johnson, Donavon McCrystal, Jacob Rogers, Jack-Thomas Wold and Connor Woods.

The UNLV baseball team suffered a 5-3 loss to the Arizona State Sun Devils Tuesday night at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. The host Sun Devils (13-18) led 4-0 after two innings and added a fifth tally in the fourth before the Rebels (12-23) could muster any offense. UNLV managed to score twice in the fifth and once more in the sixth, but that was as close as the squad would get in the midweek affair.



Rebels Return To Phoenix, Face ASU Tuesday Night

The UNLV baseball team travels back to Phoenix for another Tuesday night affair against the Arizona State Sun Devils at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. This contest, which is slated for 6:30 pm, will be the second and final game between the Rebels and Sun Devils in the Grand Canyon State while the two will square off, once more, in Las Vegas next Tuesday, April 18 (6:05 pm).

The UNLV baseball team went deep three times in its 7-4 win over the Air Force Falcons in Mountain West play Sunday afternoon at Falcon Field. The Rebels (12-22, 6-9 MW) broke open a 2-all contest with a three-run fourth that was powered by back-to-back home runs from Justin Jones and Cody Howard while their pitching staff limited the host Falcons (14-16, 4-11 MW) to four runs in the series finale.

The UNLV baseball team scattered 18 hits Saturday, but left 13 runners on base en route to its 10-5 loss to the Air Force Falcons in Mountain West play Saturday afternoon at Falcon Field. The Falcons (14-15, 4-10 MW), who notched 12 hits of their own, broke open a two-run game – 4-2 through three – with a six-run fourth inning. The Rebels (11-22, 5-9 MW) managed to score three more times, but could not draw any closer than five.



Rebels Lose Slugfest In The Rockies Friday

The UNLV baseball team (11-21, 5-8 Mountain West) notched nine runs off of 16 hits Friday, but that offensive production came too late in a 23-9 loss to the Air Force Falcons (13-15, 3-10 MW) Friday at Falcon Field. The Rebels, who trailed 12-0 after six innings, scored seven of their runs in the seventh and two more in the ninth.
