The UNLV baseball team (10-14 overall, 5-5 MW) suffered a 29-8 defeat to the New Mexico Lobos (13-9, 7-0 MW) Friday night the in first game of their Mountain West series at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. The game was tied at 1-all after the opening inning, but it quickly swung in the Lobos’ favor when their offense erupted for 14 runs between the second and third.

W. Track. Regalado Takes Second At Aztec Invite

The UNLV track & field program got a couple of fine performances from three of its own Friday at San Diego State's Aztec Invitational. Nikki Regalado ran a time of 9:56.32 at the SDSU Sports Deck to finish second overall in the 3000m; just .01 seconds back of Loyola Marymount's Hannah Wohlenberg, who posted a time of 9:56.31.

M. Tennis. Men's Tennis Road Trips To Lone Star State

The UNLV men’s tennis team will hit the road to compete in the Rice Invitational with dual matches against Texas A&M Corpus-Christi (9 a.m. PT) and No. 37 Rice (3 p.m. PT) on Saturday followed by Denver on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT in Houston, Texas and Rice’s George R. Brown Tennis Center.

The Red Raiders scored all five of their runs through the first five innings of action while the Rebels pushed across single tallies in the sixth and seventh en route to the three-run decision.
