Navy Director of Track and Field Jamie Cook announced the hiring of Andrea Sabbatine for the role of Director of Operations for the Navy track and field program. Sabbatine joins the Midshipmen after holding the same position at Washington State.



Campbell Promoted to Associate Head Coach of Track and Field

Navy men’s track and field assistant coach Chris Campbell has been promoted to associate head coach, as announced by Director of Athletics Chet Gladchuk on Thursday afternoon. Campbell has served as an assistant coach for the Midshipmen since 2008, working primarily with the throwers.

Track and Field’s Gainey Earns NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Recent Navy graduate Nate Gainey, who served as the captain of the 2016-17 men’s track and field team for the indoor season, has been selected to receive an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. His accolade was recently announced by the NCAA along with all recipients of the scholarship who participate in spring sports.
