Rowing in ‘even’ boats along a 2.5-mile course on the Raritan River, Navy was well represented in the freshmen eights race, as well as in the varsity fours. Navy’s top two heavyweight boats won the team title with the lowest combined time as they edged their lightweight brethren for the victory.

Racing on the Raritan River in New Brunswick, N.J., the Mids will compete in four- and eight-men events beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Racing in a head-style meet on a 2.75-mile course on Lake Carnegie, the lightweights highlighted Navy’s effort on Sunday with five of its crews finishing amongst the top-10 in varsity eight, freshmen eight and varsity four action.

After its top boats were tested at last weekend’s Head of the Charles Regatta, the Mids will race 19 boats on Sunday at the event on Lake Carnegie. Hosted by Princeton University, Navy’s heavyweight, lightweight and women’s teams will compete in head-racing over a 2 ¾ mile course with action starting at 9:00 a.m.

Racing versus a talented and deep field of collegiate, international and club teams, the Navy heavyweight, lightweight and women squads had five boats racing on the Charles River in four different events over Saturday and Sunday. Top-10 results by the heavyweight’s second varsity eight boat in the Men’s Club Eight race on Saturday and the first lightweight varsity eight team in the Lightweight Championship Eight race on Sunday led Navy’s combined effort.

The 52nd installment of the event that brings participants from across the world will see five Midshipmen boats race on the three-mile stretch of water in Boston. Junior varsity crews from the heavyweight and lightweight programs will begin the action for Navy on Saturday before three more crews take to the Charles River on Sunday.
