Crew Plebes Find Success at Rutgers Fall Classic

The freshmen corps of Navy Rowing was on display on Saturday at the Rutgers Fall Classic with competition in three team-scored races. The heavyweight, lightweight and women’s teams raced their first-year athletes on the Raritan River over a 2.5-mile course in Men’s Freshmen Eight, Women’s Novice Eight and Varsity Four events. Testing each team’s respective depth, the overall winners were judged on the total combined time between their even-strength ‘A’ and ‘B’ boats.



Crew Plebes to Race at Rutgers Fall Classic

The future of Navy rowing will be spotlighted this Saturday as plebe crews from the heavyweight, lightweight and women's teams will be racing at the Rutgers Fall Classic. The competition on the Raritan River features a unique scoring format that ranks teams based on the combined times of their top-two boats. The action begins with the Freshmen Eight race at 12:00 p.m.



Entire Hubbard Hall Fleet Races at 2017 Princeton Chase

The Navy rowing family was well represented in central New Jersey on Sunday as all three programs participated in the 2017 Princeton Chase. Racing on a 2.75-mile stretch of water at Lake Carnegie, Navy had 24 boats competing across seven different events. Each of the heavyweight, lightweight and women’s teams had top-six results as highlights for the day.



Varsity Crews to Conclude Fall Season at Sunday’s Princeton Chase

The entire contingent of Hubbard Hall crews will be in action this Sunday with competition at the 2017 Princeton Chase. With 24 entrants across seven different events the men’s heavyweight and lightweight teams, as well as the women’s team will all be racing along a 2.75-mile stretch of Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J. starting at 9:00 a.m.
