Squash. Squash Improves to 14-3 with Win Over #19 Williams

The Midshipmen built a 4-0 advantage over 19th-ranked Williams before ladder leader Jack Herold swept his foe to clinch the 7-2 victory for the 14th-ranked Navy squash team Sunday afternoon at the Halsey Field House International Squash Courts. Navy improved to 14-3 after playing its first home match since Nov. 20. Meanwhile, Williams dropped to 6-7 on the year after dropping three matches (Franklin & Marshall, George Washington) in the last three days.



W. Track. Mids Place Second at the Towson Tiger Invitational

M. Gymnastics. Three Gymnasts Earn Accolades at West Point Open

The Navy gymnastics team closed out its first weekend of competition with four athletes testing their talents in the event finals of the West Point Open on Saturday night. Amongst the quartet of Midshipmen gymnasts participating in the finals in Christl Arena, three, Noah Beeman (Jr., Dayton, Ohio), Jonny Tang (Sr., Malvern, Pa.) and Ryan Orce (Fr., Gainesville, Fla.) all came away with top-six podium finishes on different apparatus.

W. Basketball. Women’s Basketball Extends Winning Streak

An 8-11 effort from three-point range in the first half staked the Navy women’s basketball team to a double-digit lead at intermission in an eventual 76-41 victory over Lafayette Saturday night at Alumni Hall in Annapolis.

M. Gymnastics. Navy Gymnastics Begins Season at West Point Open

The Navy gymnastics team started its 2017 campaign on Friday night as one of seven competitors in the West Point Open. Taking on a talented field, the young Midshipmen squad compiled a score of 391.25 to rank fifth overall in the meet at Army’s Christl Arena. Senior Jonny Tang (Malvern, Pa.) led the team and a group of seven freshmen who made their collegiate debuts on Friday with a fifth-place standing in the all-around competition and two bids into Saturday’s individual event finals.



Wrestling. Prince Scores Upset as Mids Drop Match to Eighth-Ranked Lehigh

Freshman 141-pound Jared Prince’s (Safety Harbor, Fla.) upset over ninth-ranked Randy Cruz sparked the Navy wrestling team, but it would not be enough as #8 Lehigh (6-1, 4-0 EIWA) dealt the Mids (6-1, 1-1 EIWA) their first loss of the 2016-17 season on Friday evening at Alumni Hall. The Mountain Hawks, who had five ranked wrestlers in their lineup, won seven of the 10 matches en route to the 23-9 win and the program’s 11th consecutive dual victory over an EIWA opponent.



W. Basketball. Navy Women's Basketball to Play Host to Lafayette Saturday
