Rifle Continues Strong Start

A career day for freshman Elizabeth Marsh helped the TCU rifle team to a first place finish at The Citadel on Saturday. Marsh turned in career highs in air rifle (597) and aggregate (1,185) to lead all shooters in the match.

After a strong opening weekend of action, the TCU rifle team will hit the road this weekend as they head to The Citadel for a Saturday match. After the first two weeks of the season, the Horned Frogs boast the top aggregate average (4,727) in the nation.

Rifle Starts Season Strong

The TCU women’s rifle team opened the season with a pair of solid outings at the Memphis Tiger Invitational and the Ole Miss Invite. The Horned Frogs aggregate score of 4,728 tied a school record, while Sunday’s mark of 4,726 at Ole Miss is tied for third-best in program history.

The second-ranked TCU women's rifle team will begin their 2017-18 season on the road as they head to Memphis, Tenn. to take part in the Tiger Open on Saturday before heading south to Oxford, Miss. where the Horned Frogs will take part in the Ole Miss Open.

Black Named Assistant Rifle Coach
