Four Named to ACWPC All-Academic List

Four Siena Water Polo student athletes were named the the 2017 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic List. 536 student athletes were recognized for producing a grade point average of 3.2 or above.



Bryar and Bromley to Attend NCAA Career in Sports Forum

Siena Water Polo rising senior Clare Bryar and recent women's golf graduate Kristen Bromley have been selected to represent both Siena College and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference at the Eighth Annual NCAA Career in Sports Forum to be held June 1-4 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Fernandez Wins Fifth MAAC Rookie of the Week Award

Siena Water Polo’s Diana Fernandez was tabbed MAAC Water Polo Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. It is the fifth time this season that the freshman has earned the weekly award.

Garrity and Obata Named March Student Athletes of the Month

Siena women’s tennis captain Ali Garrity from the women’s tennis team and senior captain Madison Obata from the water polo program have been selected as Siena College’s Leo Dufort Student Athletes of the Month for March. The pair is being honored for their success both during competition and in the classroom.

Water Polo Closes Out Season with Victory over La Salle

Siena Water Polo battled La Salle in New Rochelle, New York on Saturday in the team’s final game of the season. The Saints took the conference victory 15-3 over the Explorers. Junior Clare Bryar put up six goals for Siena.

Water Polo Sweeps Final Home Matches

Siena Water Polo won its two final home matches on Friday in Loudonville. The Saints took down Utica College in the first game 13-4 before defeating Connecticut College 7-4 in the last game. Clare Bryar led the Saints with five goals scored.

#17 Wagner Takes Down Water Polo

Siena Water Polo took on #17 Wagner in Staten Island, New York on Sunday. The Seahawks picked up the MAAC win 13-5 over the Saints. The Saints were eliminated from MAAC Championship contention with a win by Iona earlier on Sunday. Diana Fernandez lead Siena with two goals.

Water Polo Swept in Poughkeepsie

Siena Water Polo dropped two MAAC matchups Wednesday in Poughkeepsie. The Saints were bested by #24 Marist 15-7 in game one and 14-4 in game two. Freshman Diana Fernandez totaled five goals in the doubleheader and reigning Defensive Player of the Week Carly Jackson-Clark recorded 12 combined saves.

Carly Jackson-Clark Tabbed MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Water Polo Game Moved to Poughkeepsie

The Siena Water Polo game against Marist originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 12 in Loudonville will now be played in Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, April 5. The Saints will take on the Red Foxes at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Marist this Wednesday, April 5.



Sunday Sweep

Siena Water Polo swept its two MAAC contests on Sunday in Lexington, Virginia. In the first game, the Saints defeated the Explorers 14-5. In the final game of the weekend, Siena posted just the third shutout in program history, blanking the Terriers 2-0. Carly Jackson-Clark totaled 31 saves in the two contests for the Saints.
