Varsity Rallies to Walkoff Alumni

The 2016-17 version of the Siena Baseball squad received a two-run single from freshman outfielder Zach Durfee in the bottom of the ninth inning to rally for the walkoff win over the alumni team 6-5 in a well-played, offensive display under overcast skies Saturday in the 41st renewal of the rivalry.

Yamane Named Baseball Volunteer Assistant Coach

Siena Baseball Head Coach Tony Rossi has announced David Yamane as the new volunteer assistant coach for the program for the 2016-17 season. Yamane brings 13 years of collegiate baseball experience that includes five years as Director of Operations and eight years as an assistant coach at the California Community College level that includes stops at Santa Ana College, Long Beach City College and Los Angeles Harbor College.

Steve Adkins Named Siena Baseball Pitching Coach

Siena Baseball Head Coach Tony Rossi has appointed Steve Adkins as the Saints’ new pitching coach. The Elmhurst, Illinois native joins the program after spending last season as the pitching coach at Division II Southwest Baptist University located in Bolivar, Missouri.

Baseball Adds Six Late

The Siena Baseball Class of 2020 will be the largest in head coach Tony Rossi's 47 years with the program. After initially welcoming 10 newcomers during the Early Signing Period in November, Rossi has announced the addition of six more freshmen who will join the program this fall to bring the total number of signees to 16.
