The No. 5-seeded Ohio baseball team (27-26, 13-11 MAC) begins its march toward a second conference tournament title in three seasons when it takes on No. 4-seeded Ball State (30-26, 14-10 MAC) in the opening game of the double-elimination 2017 Mid-American Conference Championship on Wednesday (May 24) in Avon, Ohio. First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET at Sprenger Stadium.
