Seventeen Finals for LMU on Last Day of Championships

For the third time in three days, senior Hannah Calton returned to a Championship Final on Saturday, this time placing second in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:03.15 to close her collegiate career from the 2017 PCSC Championship Meet at East LA College.

Kozlowski, Calton Reach Championship Finals

Competing in Championship Finals, senior Hannah Calton placed second overall in the 100 butterfly (55.47), while freshman Lanna Kozlowski took eighth overall in the 400 IM (4:37.76) as the Lions reached 16 evening finals on Friday night from the 2017 PCSC Championships being held at East LA College.

Highlighting LMU's efforts on Thursday from the 2017 Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Championships being held at East LA College, senior Hannah Calton reached the Championship Final of the 200 IM, eventually taking fourth overall in a time of 2:04.84.

Another CSCAA Scholar All-America Selection

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently announced its Scholar All-American Teams for Fall 2016, and LMU Swimming ranked tied for 138th on the list amongst 164 Division I women's swimming and diving programs with a team GPA of 3.24.

Nail-Biting 400 Relay Hands LMU PCH Cup Point

With a Wells Fargo PCH Cup point and a head-to-head victory on the line entering the final race of the Lions Cup on Saturday afternoon, LMU finished in front of Pepperdine in the 400 freestyle relay to defeat the Waves in the Division I scoring, 286-280.5.

Tight Races on Day One from Lions Cup

Hosting the inaugural Lions Cup over the weekend at Burns Aquatic Center, LMU swimming holds a slim half point lead over PCH Cup rival Pepperdine in the DI scoring segment of the four-team invitational following one session of competition. The Lions own 83 points through five events, with the Waves sitting at 82.5 points.

Calton Wins 100 Butterfly in Double Dual

Swimming in a double dual meet against UC San Diego and CSU Bakersfield on Saturday afternoon, LMU dropped a pair of decisions, but senior Hannah Calton managed to capture a first-place finish in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.50. The Lions dropped a meet to UCSD, 234-57, and fell to CSU Bakersfield, 228-63.
