The Lafayette women's soccer team seemed to execute its gameplan to perfection in the Patriot League Tournament Quarterfinal game at Boston U. on Tuesday evening. The Leopards held the third-seeded Terriers off the board for more than 74 minutes, hoping to steal a late goal and make more tournament magic a la Joanna Scotti's overtime winner at Lehigh a year ago.

Lafayette travels to Loyola on Saturday for the regular-season finale and a chance to compete in the Patriot League Tournament for the second straight season. To earn a berth into postseason play as a six seed, Lafayette will need a win on Saturday and help from crosstown rival Lehigh. A win coupled with a Lehigh victory over Holy Cross would solidify the tournament berth for the Maroon and White and result in a trip to either Colgate or Boston U. for the Patriot League Tournament quarterfinals.
