Johns Hopkins senior Meg Van de Loo was named the 2016 ECAC Division III South Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Year, it was announced Wednesday. Ana Bengoechea joined Van de Loo as a member of the ECAC South All-Star First Team.



Johns Hopkins Lands Four on NSCAA All-Region Team

BALTIMORE, MD –Four Johns Hopkins seniors, Ana Bengoechea, Adrienne Johnson, Meg Van de Loo and Clara Aranguren, earned NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors, it was announced Tuesday. The Blue Jays’ four selections are one shy of the program record set in 2011 and increase JHU’s total All-Region selections to 58.

The Johns Hopkins women’s soccer team shut out Christopher Newport 4-0 in the NCAA Second Round at Homewood Field Sunday night. Senior Meg Van de Loo broke the Hopkins single-season records for goals and points with her two goals and two assists in the match. The Blue Jays advance to the NCAA Third Round, where they will face Williams.

Five Blue Jays Named All-Centennial

Meg Van de Loo was named the 2016 Centennial Player of the Year for her stellar senior campaign for the Johns Hopkins women’s soccer team. Four other Blue Jays were also honored by the Centennial Conference as Ana Bengoechea and Adrienne Johnson were named to the First Team, while Kristen Hori and Bailey Monaco earned All-Centennial honorable mention. Hopkins now has 61 all-time First Team selections, the most of any team in the conference.



Blue Jays Set to Host NCAA Regional

The Johns Hopkins women's soccer team will host the 2016 NCAA DIII Regional at Homewood Field for the eighth time in nine consecutive trips to the tournament. The Johns Hopkins women’s soccer team placed four players on the 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-District II Soccer Team, it was announced earlier today. Seniors Ana Bengoechea, Adrienne Johnson and Meg Van de Loo and sophomore Kristen Hori picked up honors for the Blue Jays. With four selections, Hopkins led the district and earned more honorees than the rest of the Centennial Conference combined.

Van de Loo Named Centennial Offensive Player of the Week

Johns Hopkins senior captain Meg Van de Loo has earned Centennial Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced Monday. Van de Loo notched a hat trick to help the Blue Jays to a 4-0 win over Dickinson Wednesday. This is the second time this season Van de Loo has been named the offensive player of the week.
