Former Western Carolina men's golf All-America selection -- and current PGA TOUR rookie -- J.T. Poston earned his spot into the United States Open this week as the individual medalist in sectional qualifying in Columbus, Ohio. Poston, who is inside the top 100 on the FedEx Cup rankings, will compete in his first major next week at Erin Hills in Erin, Wis.

Catamount Men’s Golf Receives APR Public Recognition Award

Due to the forecast for continued inclement weather in Pinehurst on Monday, the final 18 holes of the Southern Conference Men’s Golf Championship have been postponed until Tuesday. Teams are now slated to tee off of holes 1 and 10 beginning at 7:30 am at the par-72, 7,118-yard Pinehurst No. 9.
