USC student-athletes earned a departmental GPA of 3.245 for the Fall 2016 semester. It marked the 20th-consecutive semester in which Gamecock student-athletes have combined for a GPA above 3.0.

Dambaugh posted a final-round 75 (+3) at LPGA International to finish tied for 35th with a five-round mark of 361 (+1), while Dreher placed in a tie for 40th (362, +2) following her 73 (+1) Sunday.
