Gamecocks Fall to Top-Ranked Georgia

Eighth-ranked South Carolina fell to No. 1 Georgia, 12-7, Saturday afternoon at One Wood Farm. Lizzie van der Walde (equitation over fences) and Paisley Roberts (reining) each earned MOP honors for Carolina in the loss.

The spring season started in the best way possible for the University of South Carolina equestrian team as the Gamecocks knocked off No. 2 SMU, 12-7, at the Dallas Equestrian Center. The loss is the first of the season for the Mustangs (5-1), while the Gamecocks improve to 2-4 on the season.

Eagleton Named NCEA Standout of the Month

Former Gamecock Alexa Anthony Leading StableGuard

One Christmas night while attending the University of South Carolina, Alexa Anthony's favorite horse, Magic, was stricken with Colic, a relatively common digestive infection in horses. If caught in a timely fashion, Colic can be treated with simple medicine and the affected horse is fine.

Fabiano Named SEC Rider of the Month For Equitation Over Fences
