Gamecock Women Top Georgia Tech at Home

South Carolina women's swimming and diving took home a win over Georgia Tech on Saturday at home. The Gamecocks topped the Yellow Jackets 176.5-118.5 with a total of 14 first-place finishes. The South Carolina men dropped a 168-130 decision to No. 24 Georgia Tech.

Two Gamecocks competed on platform in the final day of the Tennessee Diving Invitational. Mikaela Lujan took ninth in the women's platform while Grant Summers took 17th in the men's. The two events marked the end of a successful competition for the South Carolina diving team.



Three Gamecocks Compete in Three Meter Finals

South Carolina sent three divers to the women's 3-meter finals at the Tennessee Diving Invitational on Thursday. After placing in the top 12 of the preliminary round, Julia Vincent, Yu Qian Goh and Mikaela Lujan finished second, 10th and 11th, respectively, in the final competition.

Gamecock diver Julia Vincent took third place in the one meter at the Tennessee Diving Invitational. Both Vincent, a senior, and freshman Karlee Price made the events finals by placing in the top 12 of the preliminaries. Price finished tenth in the finals with a score of 266.60. Vincent earned her third place finish with 304.40.
