Sophomore Mackenna Briggs highlighted the weekend for the Toreros, claiming first in the 500 free and 200 free and finishing fifth in the 100 fly.

Thu, 15 Sep 2016 15:35:00 ESTThe University of San Diego women's swim team had their first competitive action of the season Thursday afternoon when they competed against San Diego State in a pentathlon. The meet was the first of the season for both squads and gave each team their first chance to get a lot of swimming in in a semi-competitive environment. While the meet was more of a structured scrimmage, SDSU wound up on top by a score of 33-24.
