Alex Hubel, a UCLA transfer led the Toreros with three first place finishes. She earned the Toreros nine points in the 100 fly (57.04), 200 free (1:52.70) and the 200 fly (2:05.36).



Toreros Take Fourth in USD Shootout

The USD swim team took fourth place in the USD Shootout Saturday morning at the SportsCenter Pool. Kansas finished in first with 53 points and was followed by North Texas (28 points), Colorado State (27 points), and the Toreros (16 points).



Toreros Win Husky Invite

The USD Swim team took first place in the Husky Invite over the weekend, beating schools such as Oregon State, Seattle University and Idaho. Sophomore Mackenna Briggs highlighted the weekend for the Toreros, claiming first in the 500 free and 200 free and finishing fifth in the 100 fly.



Toreros Sink Lions 164-97

The USD swimming team defeated LMU 164-97 on the road Saturday afternoon. The Toreros won both relays and had Bri Jurries, Dani Taylor, and Mackenna Briggs each earned two first place finishes.



Alex Hubel Named MPSF Athlete of the Week

Hubel, a former Bruin herself, placed second in the 200 free (1:51.56) and fifth in the 200 fly (2:03.55). Hubel also helped the Toreros earn sixth place in the 200 free relay with Missy Beall, Mackenna Briggs, and Danielle Taylor (1:37.60).



Toreros Knock off Oregon State
