USD Football hosting two camps this Saturday, June 10th

USD head football coach Dale Lindsey and his staff will host a High School Big Man Camp and Developmental Camp this coming Saturday, June 10th, on the University of San Diego campus. Also on hand to help will be former Torero head coach and current Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.

USD Football Announce 2017 Recruiting Class

USD head football coach Dale Lindsey and his coaching staff are pleased to announce their 2017 recruiting class. The 36 incoming recruits will join up with the rest of the Torero returners when the team reports for camp in early August. Five of the recruits are from San Diego County, and a total of twenty-six student-athletes hail from the state of California.

Jamal Agnew drafted in 5th round by Detroit Lions

Senior Jamal Agnew (San Diego, Calif.) received outstanding news today with the announcement that the Detroit Lions had selected him in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was the 165th player selected and becomes just the second Torero to be drafted. In 2008, Josh Johnson was selected in the 5th round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Three Toreros selected to 2017 NFF Hampshire Honor Society

The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced today the members of the 2017 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. USD had three players represented: CB Devyn Bryant, LB Alec Moreno and WR Brian Riley.
