Hoyas Drop a Pair to End the Season

The Georgetown University softball team dropped a pair of games to Butler on Sunday on the final day of the regular season. With the losses, the Hoyas finish the season at 11-37 and 4-16 in BIG EAST Conference play, while the Bulldogs improved to 23-28 and 11-9 in league play and have clinched the fourth-seed in the upcoming BIG EAST tournament. The Hoyas fell in game one by a score of 4-0, while game two ended 7-6.

Hoyas Drop Two on Senior Day

The Georgetown University softball team lost a pair of games against DePaul on Senior Day.The Hoyas dropped to 11-30 and 4-10 in BIG EAST Conference play, while the Blue Demons improved to 24-17 and 9-4 in conference play. DePaul won the first game by score of 5-3, and the second game, 8-1. Prior to the games, GU honored seniors Alessandra Gargicevich-Almeida (Riverside, Calif./Martin Luther King), Gabriela Elvina (Edison, N.J./Bishop George Ahr), Hannah Ramsey (Buda, Texas/Jack C. Hays) and Delaney Osterday for their accomplishments.



Georgetown Softball Cancels Saturday Doubleheader

The Georgetown University softball team’s BIG EAST Conference doubleheader against DePaul scheduled for noon today has been cancelled due to rain in the Washington, D.C area. There will be a doubleheader played on Sunday, April 22 beginning at 11 a.m. Senior Day ceremony will take place prior to the game.



Softball Welcomes DePaul for Senior Day and Military Appreciation Game
