Women's Soccer Releases Spring Schedule

The Georgetown University women's soccer team announced its spring schedule on Monday as the team is in the midst of training. The Hoyas will play on five competition dates, all away from home, as the squad prepares for the 2018 season.

Former members of the Georgetown University women's soccer team will begin the journey to the 2018 National Women's Soccer League championship next week. Four Hoyas are scattered all across the country and will be competing in the 10-team league.

Women's Soccer Signs Seven to National Letters of Intent

Georgetown University Head Women's Soccer Coach Dave Nolan announced that seven student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent on Thursday. The group will report to the Hilltop in August ahead of the 2018 season.

Georgetown and Women's Sports Foundation Host Youth Event

The Georgetown University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in conjunction with the Women's Sports Foundation (WSF) hosted a clinic for young athletes on Tuesday afternoon at McDonough Arena. The event featured elite athletes from the WSF as well as many Georgetown student-athletes to celebrate the 32nd Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD).

Wenger Selected by Boston Breakers in NWSL Draft

Georgetown University women's soccer standout Elizabeth Wenger (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) was selected by the Boston Breakers in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) College Draft on Thursday morning. Wenger was selected by the Breakers with the seventh pick in the second round of the draft, the 17th overall selection.

Daphne Corboz Called Into French National Team Camp

Former Georgetown women's soccer player Daphne Corboz (C'15) has been called into France's Women's National Team camp by head coach Corinne Diacre. The call up for Corboz is her first into the French senior team, as she replaces the injured Sandie Toletti on the roster while France prepares for a Saturday game against Italy.
