Women’s Lacrosse Signs Nine to National Letters of Intent

Georgetown University Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Ricky Fried announced the signing of nine student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Thursday. The future Hoyas are in the midst of their senior year of high school with one interscholastic season remaining before coming to the Hilltop in the fall of 2017.

The Georgetown University women's lacrosse squad held its annual banquet earlier this fall at the Georgetown Conference Center. The banquet honored the 2016 squad for its accomplishments with the graduated seniors returning for the event. The eight team awards were announced and the squad's achievements were recognized.

The Georgetown University's women's lacrosse team closed out its fall season on Saturday at the Georgetown tournament at Cooper Field. After 11 fall contests, Head Coach Ricky Fried and his staff have had the opportunity to see what the 2017 squad will look like. This includes the addition of eight newcomers for the Blue & Gray this upcoming season.

Etrasco Named to 2017 World Cup Training Team

Georgetown University Women’s Lacrosse Assistant Coach Danielle Etrasco was named to the 2017 U.S. Women’s World Cup Training Team on Thursday. She was one of 25 players to move on for the chance to compete at the 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse Women’s World Cup, which will be held July 13-22 in Guildford, England.
