Women's Golf Signs Two to National Letters of Intent

Georgetown University Women's Golf Head Coach Kate Schanuel has announced the addition of two student-athletes who signed their National Letters of Intent (NLI) to join the women's golf program. Baili Park, a native of Germantown, Tenn., and Samantha Yi from San Diego will both arrive to the Hilltop next fall as members of the Georgetown Class of 2022.



Eleey Earns BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week Honors

Georgetown University senior women's golfer Jacquelyn Eleey has been named the BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. The honor, which covers the past two weeks of competition, recognizes Eleey's performance at the USF Intercollegiate, Oct. 30-31.



Three Hoyas Take Part in WSF Athlete Leadership Communications

Last month, three Georgetown student-athletes traveled to New York City to take part in the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF) Athlete Leadership Connection, held at Morgan Stanley's International Headquarters in New York City. Representing the Blue & Gray were seniors DiDi Burton of women’s basketball and Jacquelyn Eleey from women’s golf as well as recent graduate Alessandra Gargicevich-Almeida (C’17) of the softball program.



Women's Golf Comes Back to Win USF Intercollegiate

The Georgetown University women's golf team overcame a 10-shot deficit heading into Tuesday's final round, shooting a tournament-best 15-over par 299, to win the 14-team USF Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of South Florida at TPC Tampa Bay in Lutz, Fla. The win was the third of the season for the Hoyas, setting a new program record for tournament victories in a season.



Georgetown Closes Fall Schedule at USF Intercollegiate

The Georgetown University women’s golf team will close out its fall schedule this week, competing at the two-day, three-round USF Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of South Florida. Play begins on Monday with 36 holes at the par-71, 6,145-yard TPC Tampa Bay.

The Georgetown University women's golf team shot a three-round score of 57-over par 921 to finish in eighth place in an 11-team field at the Edean Ihlanfedt Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington. The tournament was played at the Sahlee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash., and featured three programs that joined the Blue & Gray in the 2017 NCAA Tournament last spring.
