Hoya Comeback Falls Short at No. 19/18 DePaul

The Georgetown University women's basketball team (17-11, 9-9 BIG EAST) could not complete a big comeback to fall, 79-70, to the No. 19/18 DePaul University Blue Demons (24-6, 16-2 BIG EAST). Senior forward Faith Woodard (Brandon, Fla./Freedom) led the way for the Hoyas with a career-best 31 points and 11 rebounds for the double-double in her final BIG EAST regular season contest.



Georgetown falls at No. 19 DePaul, 79-70

Senior Faith Woodard scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in her Georgetown regular season finale, but it would not be enough as the Hoyas fell to No. 19 DePaul by a score of 79-70 on Sunday.

Georgetown Falls At Marquette

On Friday, Georgetown will face Marquette University (20-7, 11-5 BIG EAST) at 8 p.m. ET. On Sunday, the Hoyas will travel to No. 19/18 DePaul University (22-6, 14-2 BIG EAST) for a 1 p.m. matchup ET. Adomako Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

Georgetown University women's basketball junior guard Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after helping the Hoyas (17-9, 9-7 BIG EAST) to a 2-0 week in conference play. It is the fifth-consecutive week that a Hoya has been on the honor roll, and Aodmako’s second-consecutive honor.

With the victory, the Hoyas improved to 14-7 overall and 6-5 in league play.
